Complete Install and connect first so Chrome is connected and an AI model is ready.
1. Capture the page
Choose a product page with a clearly visible price.
- Click New monitor, enter a name such as Coffee price, and choose Create monitor.
- In Steps, paste the product page’s full URL into Open page.
- Click Test step on the Open page card.
Check that the screenshot shows the product and its price.
2. Choose what to read
- Drag a rectangle around the price and any nearby label needed to identify it.
- Choose Add step → Read below the screenshot.
- Set the field name to Price and its type to Number.
- Optionally, add a reading instruction: “Read the current price, excluding shipping.”
3. Test the reading
Click Test step on the Read card. Compare the returned Price with the screenshot before continuing.

For errors or disabled controls, see Troubleshooting.
4. Save your first check
- Click Save in the monitor header.
- Click Check now to capture the page again and read its current price.
- When the check finishes, open History. Confirm the latest check shows Succeeded and a Price reading.
Your first reading is now saved with the check’s timestamp.
