Keep NI is available for Mac, together with its companion extension in the Chrome Web Store. Use them to capture pages from your chosen Chrome profile, collect readings, and see what changes over time.
Install both, then choose your profile
- Download Keep NI for Mac, drag it into Applications, and launch it.
- Install the Chrome extension in the Chrome profile you want to use.
- Open the Chrome panel in Keep NI and choose Use this profile when that profile appears.
The Mac app prepares the local connection automatically. You do not need developer mode or terminal commands. Website sign-ins stay in your chosen Chrome profile.
What you need
- An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later.
- Keep NI 0.1.1 or later, which connects to the published extension.
- Chrome 125 or later and the Keep NI extension, with both Chrome and Keep NI running for checks.
- A configured OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Ollama model for Read steps. Page capture can be tested without a model.
Already using Keep NI 0.1.0? Choose Keep NI → Check for Updates… or install the latest Mac release before connecting the Store extension. Your workspace stays on your Mac.

Make your first monitor
Start with one page and one thing worth checking: a price, availability, or a number on a report. Test an Open page step, choose an area to read, and save a workflow. Run it on demand or schedule checks while Keep NI is running, then explore the results in History and Charts.
